師匠は原理、弟子は応用だ。

戸田先生を知らない皆さんは、先生のことを、
もっと、もっと、知りたいと思われていることでありましょう。
しかし、先生と何度もお会いし、指導、激励を受けながら、
広宣流布のために本気になって戦おうともせず、
退転していった人もおります。
先生を知るとは、
先生の信心を学び、実践することです。
その人の心にこそ、戸田先生がいらっしゃるんです。
平和を願い、広宣流布に邁進する、
生命の脈動のあるところに、戸田先生の生命が通うのです。

I'm sure that you who have never met Mr. Toda
would like to know more about him.
In the past, there were some who,
although they had met him on numerous occasions
and received guidance and encouragement
from him personally, failed to work wholeheartedly
for kosen-rufu and eventually gave up their faith.
To really know Mr. Toda means learning
how he put his faith in Nichiren Buddhism into practice
and doing the same ourselves.
Mr. Toda lives on in the hearts of those who do so.
The essence of his life is reflected in those who actively dedicate
their lives to striving for peace and the realization of kosen-rufu.

本門とは何か。
仏が本地を現すということです。
君たちの立場でいえば、地涌の菩薩として、
創価後継の弟子として、広宣流布の本舞台に躍り出て、
一切の責任を担っていくということだよ。
また、本門とは、『理』から『事』に至ることだ。
理論にとどまるのではなく、
事実として何を残すかということだ。
つまり、決意や誓いを語っている時代から、
現実に勝利の実証を示す時が来たということなんだ。

What is the essential phase?
It’s when the Buddha’s true identity is revealed.
From our perspective, it’s when we, as Bodhisattvas of the Earth
and successors of Soka, take our places on the true stage of
kosen-rufu and shoulder full responsibility for our movement.
The essential phase is also the progression from theory to reality.
Instead of remaining in the realm of abstract theory,
we do our best to achieve something in reality.
It’s the switch from a phase of speaking about our determination
and vow to the phase when we demonstrate actual proof of victory.

つまり、師弟不二の自覚に立てば
師と共に広宣流布の大使命を担う、久遠の自身の生命が脈動する。

to respond to our mentor in kosenrufu,
the same intrepid life state as our mentor
will pulse in our own lives.

that mentor and disciple are one,
we manifest the life state of the Bodhisattvas of the Earth
who vowed in the distant past to take on
the great mission of kosen-rufu together with their teacher.
We will be filled with incomparable strength.”

ちょっと前に、自分の中から出せれば正解〔#243〕というところで、
本因であるあなたの中から、仏の命を出すことができれば、それが正解であるというシンプルな記事を書きました。
仏を何か自分と違う別物として崇めるのも違うし、師匠が素晴らしい、師匠の事をよく知っているということだけでは共鳴とは言わない。
仏の願い、師の願いを自分そのものの願いとして自分の命に沸きあげていくってことなんだと思います。
同じ命を出していく己の戦いで証明してくというのが、弟子の使命ということ。
実践あるのみ。
