みなさん、こんにちは。
さて、今回は『新・人間革命』の完結部分までの公式の英訳が、先ほどUPになりましたのでご紹介したいと思います。
これで世界中に完結編が流れますね。海外メンバーがどんな反応をするのか、これも後々追っていきたいと思います。
こういうのを考えますと、一足先に直接日本語で読める私たちは本当に恵まれていますね。
でも、オリジナルの言語で読めるかどうかと、核となる部分、先生の思いが伝わるかどうかは別の話です。
海外のキラキラ軍団が（笑）この完結編を手にして、今まさに読んでいる最中なんだろうなぁと思う時、同じ宝物をシェアしたような、なんだか心がポカポカしてきます。
ということで、私も「英語で『新・人間革命』」（笑）。

小説「新・人間革命」 誓願 139

山本伸一の厳（げん）とした声が響（ひび）いた。
Shin’ichi Yamamoto’s voice rang with resolve:
「私は、戸田先生が『水滸会（すいこかい）』の会合の折、こう言われたことが忘れられない。
“I will never forget what Josei Toda said at a meeting of the young men’s division Suiko-kai
『中核（ちゅうかく）の青年がいれば、いな、一人の本物の弟子がいれば、広宣流布は断じてできる』
‘As long as there is a core of youth—no, even a single true disciple—we will achieve kosen-rufu.’
その『一人』とは誰であったか。
“Who has been that one disciple?
誰が戸田先生の教えのごとく、命がけで世界にこの仏法を弘めてきたか
Who has given his life to spreading Nichiren Buddhism around the world, just as Mr. Toda taught?
――私は“その一人こそ、自分であった”との誇りと自負（じふ）をもっています。
I am proud and confident to say that I am that one disciple.
どうか、青年部の諸君（しょくん）は、峻厳（しゅんげん）なる『創価の三代の師弟（してい）の魂（たましい）』を、断じて受け継（つ）いでいってもらいたい。
“I would like you, my young friends of the youth division, to staunchly carry on the solemn spirit of the first three Soka Gakkai presidents,
その人こそ、『最終の勝利者』です。
Those who do so will be the ultimate victors.
また、それこそが、創価学会が21世紀を勝ち抜いていく『根本の道』であり、広宣流布の大誓願を果たす道であり、世界平和創造の大道なんです。
This is also the fundamental path for the Soka Gakkai’s ongoing success in the 21st century. It is the way for us to fulfill the great vow for kosen-rufu and create lasting world peace.
“I’m counting on you, the members of the young men’s division, young women’s division and student division!
そして、世界中の青年の皆さん！」
I’m counting on all Soka youth around the world!”
「はい！」という、若々しい声が講堂にこだました。
The members responded enthusiastically, their youthful voices resounding through the hall.
会場の後方には、初代会長・牧口常三郎と第二代会長・戸田城聖の肖像画（しょうぞうが）が掲（かか）げられていた。
Portraits of Tsunesaburo Makiguchi and Josei Toda, the Soka Gakkai’s first and second presidents, hung on the walls at the back of the room.
二人が、微笑（ほほえ）み、頷（うなず）き、慈眼（じがん）の光で包（つつ）みながら、青年たちを、そして、同志を見守ってくれているように、伸一には思えた。
To Shin’ichi, it seemed that both were smiling and nodding in approval, warmly watching over the youth and everyone present, enfolding them in their compassionate gaze.
彼は、胸の中で、青年たちに語りかけた。
In his heart, he called out to the youth:
“さあ、共に出発しよう！ 命ある限り戦おう！ 第二の「七つの鐘」を高らかに打ち鳴（な）らしながら、威風堂々と進むのだ”
“Let’s set forth together! As long as we live, let’s fight! Let’s advance with confidence and vigor as we vibrantly ring in the second series of Seven Bells!”
彼の眼（まなこ）に、「第三の千年」の旭日（きょくじつ）を浴（あ）びて、澎湃（ほうはい）と、世界の大空へ飛翔（ひしょう）しゆく、創価の凜々（りり）しき若鷲（わかわし）たちの勇姿（ゆうし）が広がった。
In his mind’s eye, Shin’ichi had an uplifting vision of the youth of Soka as majestic young eagles bathed in the dawning light of the third millennium. He saw them soaring, in an unending stream, into the vast skies of the world.
それは、広宣流布の大誓願に生き抜く、地涌の菩薩の大陣列であった。
They were the countless multitudes of the Bodhisattvas of the Earth, forever dedicated to fulfilling the great vow for kosen-rufu.
