高等部結成記念日 １９６４年６月７日を記念して
「鳳雛よ未来に羽ばたけ」という、先生が当時の高等部員に向けて贈った指針があります。
最近また注目を浴びていますね。
「鳳雛」とは、鳳凰（フェニックス）のヒナ（雛）という意味ですね。
『新人間革命（９）』にもありますが、大聖人が諸経の王である法華経を、鳳凰に譬えられているところから、先生が高等部員に対して「鳳雛」と名付けられたようです。
詳しくは『新人間革命（９）』に作成秘話が載っていますので、ぜひ９巻をお持ちの方は見てみてくださいね。
ここでは、「鳳雛よ未来に羽ばたけ」の中から、新人間革命にも出てくる箇所を皆様に見て頂こうと思います。
今現在頑張っている高等部のメンバーに渡すのもよし、昔高等部だったおっちゃんに渡すのもよし、どっちにも引っかからない私のような人でもよし、誰にでも伝わります。
部分部分をかいつまんだものですが、だいたい何が書かれているのか分かるかと思います。
英語の勉強にもなりますよ。

Young Phoenixes, Soar Into the Future!
未来を目指し、未来に生きる、
若き、高等部諸君よ。
To my young friends in the high school division
who are aiming for the future, who will inherit the future!
諸君こそ、広布達成の鳳雛である。すなわち、諸君の成長こそ、学会の希望であり、日本の、そして全世界の黎明を告げる暁鐘である。
You are the young phoenixes who will accomplish kosen-rufu. Your growth, therefore, is the hope of the Soka Gakkai and the bright herald of a new dawn for Japan and the world.
わが高等部は、本門の時代に入って、最初に結成された部であった。しかるに、その急速なる大発展は、渓谷の水が、一挙に大河に入ったごとく、誠に目をみはるものがあった。
The high school division is the first division established since we entered the essential phase of our movement. Its rapid and dynamic growth has been astonishing, like water pouring from mountain streams into a great river.
諸君が、やがて、次の社会の、次の時代の奔流となりゆくことは、歴史の必然であろう
It is a historical inevitability that you will become a powerful driving force in shaping the future direction of society and the times.”
わが学会に、若き、強き、清純なる生命の躍動が漲っているかぎり、永遠に盤石であり、必ずや、立正安国の偉業を実現できることは間違いない。
As long as the Soka Gakkai brims with youthful, strong, and pure vitality, its foundation will forever be solid and we will absolutely be able to accomplish the noble endeavor of kosen-rufu.
これ、まさしく学会の、令法久住の実相でなくして何であろう。
In this way, the Soka Gakkai will secure the eternal transmission of the Mystic Law.’”

いわんや、若くして、世界最高の日蓮大聖人の大仏法を持った諸君は、青春時代の生活、活動の一齣一齣が、それ自体、貴重な体験であり、同時に、将来に向かっての重要な基礎づくりであることを、強く自覚されたい
I hope that all of you, who have embraced the supreme teaching of Nichiren Buddhism, will be profoundly aware that each episode of your life and your activities in your youth is in itself a precious experience and, at the same time, part of the important process of building a foundation for the future.”

ただ今は「『勉学第一』で、広く知識を求め、将来の大成を期してゆかれんことを、心から願望するものである
It is my dearest wish that you will … make study your first priority, striving to acquire broad-based knowledge so that you can achieve wonderful accomplishments in the future.”
現在、進学のため、勉強に余念のない人もあろう。昼は働き、夜は定時制高校に通い、大変ななか、真剣に勉強している人もあろう。高校卒業後に、直ちに、社会に出る人もいよう。さらに大学に進み、蛍雪の功を重ねる人もあろう
I’m sure that some of you are now concentrating hard on your studies in preparation for college or university entrance exams, and that some of you may be holding down jobs during the day and attending night school, applying yourselves to your studies under difficult circumstances. I also imagine that some of you will enter the workforce immediately after graduating from high school, while some of you may go on to college or university and devote yourselves to your studies for years to come.

妙法を根底に、一生涯、強き信仰に生きゆくならば、真実の幸福、真実の人生の勝利、真実の広布の使命に住しうることは、絶対に疑いなかろう
If you maintain strong faith throughout your lives, basing yourselves on the Mystic Law, you will without a doubt be able to realize true happiness, true victory in life, and your true mission for kosen-rufu.

今こそ、世界平和、すなわち世界広布のため、全力を傾注して、前進せねばならぬ時代なのである。
私は、今日まで、全魂を尽くして、諸君のために、道を切り拓いてきた。また、これからも、拓いていく決心である。Now is the time for us to advance, fully exerting ourselves for world peace—in other words, worldwide kosen-rufu. I have striven with all my being until now to open the way for you, and I am determined to keep doing so.
どうか諸君は、その純粋なる信心を、どこまでも、いつまでも持ちつづけ、真の学会精神を受け継ぎ、諸先輩が心血を注いで築き上げた、基盤の上に、やがて、思うがままに雄飛、乱舞していただきたい。
I hope you will always maintain your pure-hearted faith wherever you go and carry on the true Gakkai spirit, and that you will one day soar and strive freely, fulfilling your respective roles, on the solid foundation your seniors have built through their arduous, dedicated efforts….
（中略）社会のため、法のため、自己のために、若き、戦う地涌の菩薩として、立派に成長しゆかれんことを――
I am praying for your magnificent development as young Bodhisattvas of the Earth who will take action for the sake of society, the Law, and yourselves.
永遠のヤングフェニックスの皆さんに、贈ります。
